The Roadmap

01

The Spark

2022

Second year of university. ICP blockchain hackathon. A guy named Confidence walked in and showed us how he used LinkedIn. I created my account that day. I had no clue what I was doing.

"Every LinkedIn journey starts with someone showing you the door. Find that person."

02

Post and Ghost

2022 to 2024

I did what everyone does. Posted when I got a certification. Posted when I graduated. Posted when something happened to me. Then I disappeared. Like everyone else on LinkedIn.

"Consistency is the whole game. Not talent. Not follower count. Just consistency."

The Pivot

Post graduation

No job. But I had time. I made a decision. Build the personal brand. Build products. Stop waiting for permission.

"Time is a resource. Use it before you have less of it."

04

Solve Your Own Pain

Build era

I needed to schedule LinkedIn posts and write better content. I built LinkGenie. I needed to receive payments as a Zimbabwean freelancer. I built PayFari. The lesson: don't hunt for problems. Build for the ones you already have.

"Your pain is the product brief. Stop looking elsewhere."

The Compound

Now

Top IT and Tech creator in Zimbabwe. LinkedIn Local Harare community. Masterclass this weekend. We keep building.

"Compound interest applies to everything. Show up long enough."

What I learned

  1. Don't hunt for problems. Build for the ones you already have.
  2. Time is a resource. Use it before you have less of it.
  3. Post and ghost is a trap.
  4. Consistency is the whole game.
  5. Stop waiting for permission.

LinkGenie

I built this so you don't have to grind alone for 3 years.

LinkGenie compresses the LinkedIn learning curve. The tools I wish I had from day one.

  • Schedule and queue LinkedIn posts
  • AI-assisted writing in your own voice
  • Analytics that show what is working
  • Built for creators who ship
